Developed by a psychotherapist, yoga teacher and eating disorder specialist; InBodied Yoga® facilitates development of self-compassion, body awareness, body acceptance, and stress management skills.
Lauren Ezell, RYT, LCSW designed InBodied Yoga® by integrating her personal therapeutic yoga practice and her clinical work with eating and body image issues. Her mission is to unleash the potential of those who suffer in their bodies in service of creating a more just and compassionate world.
Who is this for?
InBodied Yoga® is designed for anyone who wishes to work on his/her/their relationship with his/her/their body. This includes individuals of all shapes, sizes, abilities, and identities. In the past, Lauren has worked with the following conditions:
Sessions are for any individual who needs support through life's circumstances. Examples include issues related to loss, trauma, transition, sexuality, gender, identity, work, relationships, fertility, sleep, eating, weight, or mood. Treatment modalities include a combination of psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness-based, and embodied interventions. Lauren has treated individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, traumatic brain injury, stroke, trauma-related symptoms, food issues, body image issues, compulsions and addictions.
