Alaina Gurwitz, Founder

Alaina created Adhara with an ever-growing passion for uncovering opportunities for women to better know their authentic selves. Her vision for Adhara to expand upon the work of trail blazing women throughout the spiritual and wellness community stems from her deep commitment to her personal growth and self-exploration, and equally deep desire to share her findings with the world to support the betterment of our entire planet.

Prior to Adhara, Alaina was the CEO of Good Property, a real estate design and development firm based in New York City, that uses space as a medium for uncovering true essence. In her former life in international development, she worked at Columbia University on health, education, and gender equality programs throughout Africa, the Middle East and the Caribbean.

Alaina holds a Master of Social Work from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from New York University. She is a yoga and meditation teacher, writer, speaker, and self-professed math geek with an eye for beautiful things, whose mission is to support women around the globe through access to as many spirituality and wellness tools and teachings as she can find.
