Kelly Keesler stumbled upon Pilates as a means of staying fit and active during her college years after spending long hours in a computer chair studying graphic design. After completing her BA in graphic design Kelly moved back to her home city, NYC, and soon found herself craving the benefits of Pilates enough to quit her desk job and become a full-time Pilates instructor. Kelly is classically and comprehensively certified through Core Pilates NYC as well as certified in Pre and Post-Natal Pilates, and the Lagree FitnessTM method, an exercise method performed on the Megaformer. Pilates is more than a workout to Kelly, it is a choreographed sequence that not only keeps her attention, but keeps her fit. Kelly feels that bringing awareness to your body, in particular, learning how to isolate specific muscle groups, is one of the most physically rewarding and ‘a-ha’ moments Pilates can give you.
